A quiet Saturday Afternoon.....

and after looking after Matthew and Erin for most of the day I finally got to get some scrapping done and decided to have a go a the Scrap the Girls challenge for January. We were challenged to scrap a LO using a pic provided for inspiration. I found this photo of Erin that I hadn't scrapped yet (highly unusual I know!!!) Very simple but that is what I was looking for. I went with the colours for inspiration. This is the pic we had to use for inspiration and here is my layout and a close up. I used some leaf shaped sequins on the chipboard vine and added some pink Kindy Glitz to the flower petals and the butterflies. I printed the photo onto white CS and distressed the edges of the photo and the PP squares and then added some versa ink (pinecone). I thought the lace at the bottom added some softness to the layout

Just sensational... A true master piece! LOL........ Is it tricky to print a photo straight onto white card stock?? Do you have to change the properties on your printer??
